We played Salford City Roosters last week. It was a bit scrappy, but it was more about
attitude in defence and to keep a team to nil is a real positive, especially with so many young
kids playing.

We had six or seven of last year’s under-18s playing and we had a couple of lads making
their Pilks debut, so it was good to get the win.

This week, we face Keighley Albion in our first BARLA Cup appearance in over a decade. Keighley have just come up to the NCL (National Conference League) so this will be a good test for us.
